World Autism Awareness Day

Autism Ribbon with World Autism Awareness Day text

What are you doing for World Autism Awareness Day?

The United Nations declared April 2nd World Autism Awareness Day, to increase and develop world knowledge of autism. By bringing together autism organisations all around the world, they will give a voice to the millions of individuals worldwide who are undiagnosed, misunderstood and looking for help. Please join them in their effort to make this possible.

This is a great opportunity for organisations and individuals to organise an event or events for the day and be heard on a global scale.

If you are an Autism organisation or individual and are planning to organise an event , or would like to hold an event for World Autism Awareness Day, then they want to hear about it, and so do we.

Visit http://www.worldautismawarenessday.org to let them know about your event, or email them at info@worldautismawarenessday.org so they can add your event to their event schedule web page. And also leave a reply below so we can promote it.

How will you celebrate World Autism Awareness Day? Have a look through their event schedule for past years and this years day, and see what the rest of Australia and the world is planning, get some ideas and get them out there!

Come on South Australia, get your groups together and lets organise an event to let the world know we are here and we want to do something about Autism awareness.

If anyone has any ideas or there are groups that would like to get something going leave a reply below, get a conversation going, lets get things moving.

I would certainly volunteer to use this web page as a forum to help get something organised and promoted!

C’mon SA lets stop talking and lets do something!
