Hi, my name is Isabella, Isy for short. I was born in mid 1997 and was diagnosed with autism at the age of two.
My parents originally started Isabella’s Autism Pages in 2004 to help other parents in similar circumstances, and to give recognition to other people and organisations who have helped them help me.
A lot has happened since then, and now Isabella’s Autism Pages is moving forward with this website and blog. We hope to cover a lot of ground with this site including Autism schools and education for persons with ASD, and also look into what is out there for ASD persons in adult life or after they have left school.
We would very much like to hear your opinion, thoughts, insights, comments. If you like you can subscribe to the RSS feed and keep up to date.
We also have an online shop providing an excellent range of ABA and Autism teaching aids and resources using imaginative ideas and the best quality materials tailored for educating persons within the Autism Spectrum of disorders, learning disabilities or any number of special needs and learning difficulties.

We strongly believe that autism is a disorder which can be overcome far beyond the current perceptions of many professionals, and increasingly there is an ever growing community out there which also reflects their views, and proving it.

Hi Isy.
Thank you for the great website and the information. I will be looking forward to reading more.
Molly!
Love the sight and the positive strategies which you offer.
In the UK a little survey is being run to try to understand why autism appears in families to see if there are any factors which might predispose children to ASD .
This survey will come to an end on 9 June 2011 and it would be great to get responses from people outside of the UK.

Hi.
I welcome any surveys that may lead to a better understanding of Autism, however surely for your survey you should only need details of location such as country and state and possibly suburb. I fail to see how other details such as address, phone number and full name could help.
Participants please note, I have done some research and this survey seems legitimate, however please be careful with the details you disclose on a non secure web survey
Cheers.
